Pigs Stink & So does this Swine Flu (H1N1)
YYYOOOUUCCCHHH! That doesn't look anymore healthy than the disease itself. Anyhow this post is for pre-swine flu outbreak. CNN stated the other night that over 90,000 people will be infected. Ew, isn't infected such a dirty word. You can only do so much. I would say don't kill yourself trying to protect your family, but what parent wouldn't? There are ways to help prevent. At the end of the day if it happens, it happens. Here are some things to do when/if the situation comes:
-Pray to the Lord to protect your family, and know if we get H1N1 it is God's will. We know not what the Lord wants for us nor do we understand it, trust Him.

-Wash hands A LOT. The Today show stated that 55% of people wash their hands WITHOUT soap. Really? Really people? Ok so maybe since I'm a recovering OCD hand washing addict I just can't swallow these stat's.
-Teach your kids (and yourself if you don't already) to use a Kleenex or your sleeve when sneezing or coughing. Always washy washy after you sneezey sneezey. Avoid touching face, nose, mouth.
-Keep hand sanitizer on..well hand. Keep in your car and even small travel sized in your kids backpacks. Teach them to use it when needed. Try to be informative prevention of germs but be careful not to frighten your child about H1N1.
-If your ok with looking a little odd, and don't mind stares then grab your respitory mask. Your health is your business and which way you protect it is up to you. I don't know how bad this will get, only God knows. Your kids might reject the mask! Mine would, I just know it, but it might be good for adults.
-Vaccinate? Here is the H1N1 Flu Vaccine Recommendations. I would tell ya about it, but its a mouthful..take all day to type it too. So visit the above link if your curious. I know you are!
-Keep your kids home when there sick. Or always? Would you pull your kids from school and teach (home schooling) them on your own just because of an outbreak? How far are you willing to go to prevent, protect?
So what do you think. Is it more unhealthy to worry about this illness? I think if you just continue to do all you can to prevent just as you do with the flu every year you should be fine.
Here is a pic of H1N1..what a debut:

UPdate!! Fed{S}exy

Oh yes I was here when the door bounded. Actually he knocked so hard I was frightened, taken a back, & almost didn't answer it. You would have thought it was the law bounding on that front door. I knew FedExy was coming, but the knock I do not remember. Crrrreeekkkk. Oh yeah I see the package in his hand & the truck in the distance but the face? I didn't not recognize. You mean I only get FedEx maybe 2x a year and Mr. FedExy is not here today? Where is he? Sick, replaced(oh heavens NO). I could have waited an extra day for the deliver if Mr. FedExy needed me to. Did his route change? A little sad, disappointed, and embarrassed that I'm still talking about it/him. Ok I have to quite!! That's the update, a sad one. Rest assured that even the replacement was a step up from Doug from King of Queens.

Jeremy Camp here I come..home

There is something you should know about me that you might not yet. I am a huge fan of Christian music. I love it LOVE IT!! I didn't always listen to it but a few years ago my young daughter was singing something. Sounded kinda sweet listening to her, until I heard what it was. It was a raunchy song that was on the radio. I guess these kids soak things up better than the ol sponge. So from that point on I searched the radio for family friendly music. Something that I enjoyed too. I found WFRN 100.1. I can't turn the dial..I'm hooked. I love that when they report the news, they will pray for the people making not so great choices in our world. Rather than swaying you this or that way they pray it out. I love that. Great testimonies and even the music is wonderful ;) I became a fan of one singer real fast, Jeremy Camp. Later to find out were are cousins! Ok like 2nd cousins. His grandpa, Bill and my grandma, Nancy were brother and sister. So my fan status went from here to HERE. I was so happy to have talent in my blood, even if I never got any. I have a youtube link if you don't know him or want to hear him. Jeremy Camp
My grandma's sister came over a month ago and gave me the invite to this years family reunion. Guess what?? Ok so it's not at his house but it is at his moms!! She's like the coolest thing ever. Seriously! His father is a minister as well. I'm so excited to get autographs..op I mean go. My husband doesn't want to go, so we'll see what happens. I will take pictures and be posting Monday!! yeah!!

Little Leggings 'n More by Lynn GIVEAWAY
Enter my at my giveaway blog The Fabulous Won to win a pair of leggings from Little Leggings 'n More by Lynn. Fed{S}exy is Coming
I'm a Christian. Yes, really I am but sometimes I say things and I think to myself...oh I shouldn't think that way or say that. A couple of years ago (2 to be exact) we went on line to Verizon Wireless and renewed our contract and received 2 new phones. I love online rather than in store because the deals are better and customer service is not compromised. We've had issues and just called them, no biggie. The cell phones were shipped separately and I was home and answered the door one night, probably around 6pm. To my wonderful surprise the FedEx man was shocking good looking. Like my mouth was probably hanging open. I didn't want him to go..haha. Do I need to sign something else?? Do you need directions anywhere I can help you with? I have a picture inside to hang, your muscles look like they can get the job done. Haha actually I'm really pretty shy so I could hardly look at him. He was super nice but very intimidating. I ran to my husband like a school girl talking to her bff (not a married women to her husband) and was like Mr. FedEx was here and he's beautiful. I said..pausing..thinking...um...yeah that wasn't very nice. He said...I know..lol. "He works out at the YMCA on his lunch break if you want to check him out again." Well hunny I'm not in the market (isn't he jealous?), but thanks anyhow. My husband wasn't even at the door when I answered and this Mr. FedEx was so good looking that even he knew who I was talking about (talking was an understatement). So with a glimmer in my eye I know that he will be back soon to deliver the other phone. Around the next night I was upstairs with the kids when my husband came in the room with sad news. Mr. FedEx came and I missed him. Oh..I said. Acting like I didn't care, he knew better. He thought it was hilarious. So now I am going to order 2 new phones tonight. I'm very excited because the deals are amazing...up to $150 phones for free. And FedEx is coming!!!!!!!!!
Its not just me, my mom said the same thing. She was over a few weeks ago and was talking about this super good-looking FedEx man. I started screaming (again acting like a high school girl with a crush). I know I know mom isn't he dreamy. Then she starts saying how she wished she wasn't wearing sweatpants and her hair was sticking up. Hey mom, he's more like my age. Op and we're both married..reality check. Isn't it funny how women can act. So I renamed him FedSexy but then I God hit me over the head and now I call him FedExy. Better right?? Ok maybe not, but I will update you soon with the 'drop off'. Maybe I will somehow get a picture of him for you girls. LOL

Best Thing Since Sliced Bread

You've heard it before, more than once, more than twice, probably 3x over. The expression is one of my favorite's to say. I've heard babies refereed to being better than it (I would hope so, lol), invention of the cell phone (do you remember Zack from Saved By the Bell's cell phone, ha), BUT and I mean a big BUT (an exceptional but) detergent has taking a turn, a move in a different direction. One that you don't want to waste time on or spend questioning. One that will make your time in front of the washer AND dryer a little less. One that won't have spills. One that is cheaper but does not compromise value for price. One that smells good and the scent last longer than the trip up the stairs to the closet (scent is my favorite part of laundry, yours too right?).
Next time your shopping for detergent grab the Purex Complete 3-in-1. Actually don't wait until you run out of your old (and ordinary) detergent and buy this next time you go shopping. The package is not going to take up all the room in your shopping cart or cause a cramp in your arm when you grab it either..haha. Just follow the demo At Purex and you'll be good to go. Also get a $1 coupon there to. So this in my opinion is the Best Ting Since Slided Bread!!

Oh and my BabyGirl, 1st Day of School, Kindergartner, heart breakerOh and that's just a few...I went a little camera crazy. I was that mom that wouldn't leave the school. The mom that her husband called asking what's taking so long and he needs to go to work. The mom that still want to cry while writing about this. Yeah I know your that mom too :) There was one little Kindergartner that was screaming and crying, I felt sorry for him..and the teacher.

Copy That Copy Kat
Want your kids to look like a fashion icon this fall? You don't?? Yeah right! What's hot, What's not, & I'll take that look for Less.
Leggings are still in for girls going back to school this year. Yeah I predicted that, and that's why I stocked up last year on clearance. Want a great deal on Leggings?
Gap Leggings run about $12.50 or buy more than 1 is $10 a pair.
Or grab a pair at Old Navy for $8.50 or 2 or more for $5 each. Pictured at right.

Next you need your checked plaid flannel and you can find this at 77 Kids for $34.50. OR Get one similar and still very trendy at TJ Maxx for $7.99-$9.99. Big Savings there.
Next- Legwarmers and have you ever seen them look so dang cute? I love them paired with the leggings. Shop Hanna Anderson for cute girly cozy leg warmers but for $18.50 a pop might I suggest shopping Little Leggings 'n More by Lynn for only $8/pair.
Well lets wrap things up here. Total for the Splurge is $65.50. Or you can Steal this look for $20.98 which is a savings of 44.52!! Not bad and just as stylish and Cutie Pie.

BBQ Pork Sandwiches

Mom Fuse is having a Recipe Contest with a $50 Visa card for the reward of the winning recipe.
All you have to do is search for your best meat dish (beef, chicken, or pork) and post on your blog the recipe with a picture of it. Go to Mom Fuse and find out more and link up. Yum.
1 Pork Tenderloin Roast (best b/c not much fat on it, easy to shred) 2lbs
1-2 cups water (depending on size of pork)
1 1/2 cup chopped onion
1/4 cup firlmly packed brown sugar
1/4 tsp pepper
1-2 T lemon juice or vinegar ( I used 1 T vinegar)
1 T Worcestershire sauce
2 T mustard
1/8 tsp ground cloves
1 cup (or more if you like) broth from Pork
I brown my pork in Olive oil & flour/salt/pepper before adding to crock pot. Then I add chopped onion ( you can also saute your onions in butter and add to sauce instead of cooking in the crock). Next add 1-2 cups water. Add the other ingredients together and keep in fridge until ready. Cook on high 7-8 hours. Shred then add sauce. Place back in crock on low for 30 min to an hour. Serve on buns. Wallah there's your crowd pleaser.
This is easy, affordable, and delish. Serves great with potato salad and sweet corn :) My daughter (5) thought it was hilarious watching me take pictures of this sandwich. I heard her later telling her brother about it.

My Story:
You can read my profile on my sidebar for more detail of me.
I blog for fun, it is an escape for me and it lets me be involved with other mothers around the country from my living room(where I never leave-4 kids, stay at home momma). I especially love to find coupons and promotions, deals, steals, and knock you over must-have's. I like to read on other blog sites about product reviews and giveaways. I would love to review products as well. I definitely have an opinion as to where my money goes and if it's a good investment. I have found myself analyzing purchases and researching products now more than ever. I have to make sure that my valued, hard earned dollar is going to count for what I buy. I am a huge anti-waster (is that a word?) and I am very upset when I am let down by a product, especially the expensive ones. It's a disappointment and I don't have money or time to waste on things that are not going to benefit my family. So product reviews and research are very important to me. On the other hand (and a lighter note)there are lots of products I buy that are so amazing and I love so much I blog about them so others know too. I'm so excited right now because my son's birthday party is Saturday and his grandparents bought him the Plasma Car. I can't wait to see how the kids react to it, how I like it, and how it holds up for the cost. I will be letting everyone know about it on my blog too!
This is all very exciting for me because I went to college at Purdue University for 2 years and my major was advertising. After I got pregnant with my first child I gave up my dream to be a stay at home mom. That dream never picked up again until a year ago when I began blogging. Its a way for mothers (and non-mothers) to feel like they still have a say, a word, a voice in this market. My actual giveaway site is The Fabulous Won, which is still under construction at the moment.
So thank you PR professionals for taking a minute to look over my blog and I hope to get some more cute options up on my page soon. If your interested in talking with me about product reviews or advertising on my blog you can email me at babysmamatimes3 at yahoo dot com.
Here is my oldest son, 7 years old with my youngest daughter, 8 months old
This is my 3rd child who is 3
and this is my oldest daughter who is 5
